DRIVING EDUCATION
Drivers Education Package Description:
Each Driving Education Course consists of 30 hours in the classroom, 6 hours of behind the wheel driving lessons and the TN Driving Test.
There will be 4 classroom sessions that start at 8:00 A.M. and end at 4:00 P.M. with a 30 minute lunch break starting at 12:00.
The Classroom covers the Tennessee Driver's Manual, Driver's Safety, Defensive Driving Skills, Emergencies, and driving skills that they will use during the Behind the Wheel Lessons.
The Behind the Wheel driving time is separate form the classroom time and can be scheduled through your student portal after the first day of class.
On average it takes 4 to 5 weeks to complete all 6 hours of the driving instruction and the 30 hours of classroom.
Go Driving accepts students from Clarksville, Ft. Campbell, Springfield, Pleasant View, and Ashland City. The classroom sessions are at our main office located at 221-F West Dunbar Cave Road, Clarksville TN.
The behind the wheel driving lessons pick up and drop off location is at our main office.
For an additional fee per lesson our Driving Instructors will pick up at your home, work, school, or prearranged locations that are inside the Clarksville City limits.
We do offer the driving test and it is included in the price of this package. Tennessee Department of Safety requires the completion of 30 hours of Classroom and 6 hours of Behind the Wheel lessons before being able to take the Road test with Go Driving Academy.
The Knowledge Test is still required to be taken at the local Driver's Services Center
